When we say this place is HOT we're not kidding! The scene at The Global Ambassador is akin to the famous Los Angeles Sunset Strip. This place is crazy fun for high-end cocktails and making new friends. If you blink you might just miss something. The Global Ambassador is an electrically charged environment and it is not for those seeking a quiet relaxing atmosphere. This is the place to be seen!
The atmosphere can be a bit on the snooty side and the bar tenders are definitely overwhelmed during the busy hours, so be patient. Did we mention that the entire staff at The Global Ambassador is extremely friendly and does their absolute best to make you feel welcome? Well the do! This is "the place" for the "pretty people" in Scottsdale. Set your expectations high, we guarantee you'll see the most beautiful women you've ever laid eyes on, along with some of the most handsome gents right off the pages of GQ!

Camelback Inn at The JW Marriott
The Camelback Inn is a cozy, laid-back venue that's great for meeting friends, a nigh out with a special someone, or simply to watch a beautiful sunset over Camelback Mountain. Sit by one of the many fireplaces, or by the pool. Listen to live music and enjoy Scottsdale at its best!
The Camelback Inn comes complete with everything you'd expect from a JW Marriott. The service is friendly and the crowd is classy and casual. Bring a sweater or light jacket as the Scottsdale winters can be a bit nippy after sunset.
Scottsdale-Road.com recommends trying one of the signature cocktails - our favorite is the Espresso Martini with either Vodka or Tequila.
The Camelback Inn is worth the trip the trip from anywhere in the valley. We recommend arriving early to get a good seat by the fireplace. Handlebar J (Scottsdale)
Handlebar J is a very laid back, casual, country bar. Handlebar J offers live music and some pretty good bar food. The crowd is very eclectic and varied. The live music sets the stage for a lively evening of dancing and fun.
Handlebar J, conveniently located in central Scottsdale and is easily accessible from N. Scottsdale, Old Town Scottsdale or Phoenix. Fridays and Saturdays are the time to plan your experience for the best experience. They offer a pretty varied menu and their BBQ is worth the cost of entry. The atmosphere is rustic and casual. Wear your boots and cowboy hat, or a pair of shorts and a T- Shirt. Everyone is welcome. The crowd varied from 20s to 70s. The staff was friendly, and above average. That said, the drinks were a little pricey for what you get so beware.

Scottsdale-Road recommends Handlebar J for a classic country experience and is an alternative to traveling all the way up to Cave Creek. Again, it's laid back, and casual and features live country music. Enjoy Handlebar J and don't forget to tie up your horse out front. You may be right next to a Ferrari or Mercedes. Gallery Bar/High Street - N. Phoenix (Desert Ridge area)
Gallery Bar is a classy, laid back bar located in the trendy High Street area. Gallery Bar combines amazing artwork, from local artists, and live music. The atmosphere is dimly lit, classy, and casual.
Gallery Bar, located in the "trendy" High Street area, is just one choice of many in the area. Gallery Bar features trendy, modern, comfortable couch seating, and modern tables, with high-top bar seating. Gallery Bar is a fun time featuring live piano music. We think it's the perfect "date" venue. Gallery Bar caters to the mid-30's to late-50's crowd with its smooth, relaxed atmosphere. Gallery Bar is great destination, especially if you're in the mood for a different, more mature experience. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helped us feel like we were always important (kind of rare these days).

Modern Margarita/High Street - N. Phoenix (Desert Ridge area)
Modern Margarita is a hip little margarita bar located in the trendy High Street area. While they do serve light fare we recommend giving each of the countless margaritas a try - after all, they call it Modern Margarita for a reason!
Modern Margarita, located in a "restaurant/bar rich" area, Modern is just one choice of many. Modern features comfortable booth seating, bar seating, and a wonderful patio area. Modern is not your typical margarita bar. Modern features a DJ who begins pumping the beats around 9:00PM, taking up the vibe a few notches. Modern Margarita definitely caters to the 20's/30's crowd with its loud music, televisions for catching your favorite sports, and lively atmosphere. It's worth a visit if you're looking for a "club-like" experience filled with specialty margaritas, and a friendly bar staff.

The Merc Bar - Phoenix (Biltmore area)
Merc Bar is a cool, laid-back venue that's great for meeting friends,a nigh out with a special someone, or simply to do a little people-watching. It's a fun club, and the bartenders and wait staff will be more than happy to serve up one of their signature cocktails, or a favorite of your own!
The Merc Bar Phoenix is a reincarnation of the original Merc Bar first opened in the heart of Soho, New York City. This place definitely has the "New York vibe" going, with its dimly lit ambiance, rich comfortable seating, and some of your favorite music spanning multiple decades. This place is uber-cool to say the least, and is worth a trip to Central Phoenix (the Biltmore area).
Merc Bar has a business casual dress code - collared shirts for gentlemen are requested, and they ask that you consider not wearing baseball caps, tank tops, or flip flops, and team athletic attire too casual for our establishment. You'll definitely see some of the "pretty people" at Merc Bar.

Buffalo Chip Saloon & Steakhouse - Carefree (North of Scottsdale)
Buffalo Chip is an absolutely fun time, whether you're in the mood for a good steak, country dancing, live music, bull-riding, or a live rodeo - Buffalo Chip is the place for you! That's right, you heard us correctly, Buffalo Chip has live rodeo on site, and the action couldn't be hotter.
The bar staff is friendly and helpful. On those busy Friday and Saturday nights you might have a bit of a time getting a cocktail, so you might want to order two at a time!
The food is great, it's not five star, but it will definitely fill the hole in your stomach. Try the Brisket sandwich or the Ribeye Steak, both are served with sides and the value can't be beat.
The Buffalo Chip Saloon & Steakhouse is definitely worth the trip north to Carefree! Oh, by the way, we forgot to mention, you'll never have a problem finding a dancing partner. The Mix Up Bar - Phoenix/Paradise Valley (In the Royal Palms Hotel)
The Mix Up Bar is one of the most comfortable, romantic bars in the valley. It has an atmosphere unto itself and is a wonderful place to meet up with friends, or that special someone. Sit at the bar or one of their comfortable couches in front of the warm, inviting fireplace. This place is absolutely enchanting and quite relaxing.
The extra-friendly bar staff will be happy to make you anything your heart desires, from specialty cocktails, to your favorite glass of wine, to a shot of your favorite tequila. Did we mention how friendly the staff was at the Mix Up Bar? Well if we did, it's worth mentioning again; These folks were as accommodating as we've ever experienced and they didn't miss a beat with the service and selection.
After a warm up at the Mix Up Bar, be certain to take the short walk T. Cooks for some of the most flavorful dining you'll experience in the valley. The staff at Scottsdale Road highly recommends The Mix Up Bar, in the Royal Palms Hotel; from the warm inviting fireplace, to the romantic atmosphere, to the "second to non staff", The Mix Up Bar is one of the best lounge experiences in the valley!

Cedar Room Fine Cigars & Lounge - Scottsdale/DC Ranch
Cedar Room is by far one of the best cigar lounges/bars we've ever had the pleasure of visiting, and what's even better, it's located right here in N. Scottsdale. Cedar Room is a great place to meet up with friends, relax with a glass of wine, and of course, your favorite cigar selection. In fact, they've got more that 17,000 cigars on hand - if you can't find a cigar you like at Cedar Room, you probably can't find it anywhere. Featuring comfortable leather seating and a spacious patio you'll think you're in cigar heaven! If you close your eyes, you may just hear George Burns. . .

In addition to various beer and wine selections, Cedar Room also offers espresso, coffee and various soft-drinks.
There are multiple reasons the staff at Scottsdale Road recommends Cedar Room; from the comfortable seating, big screens (for watching those big games), a very impressive cigar selection, but most of all, the Cedar Room is probably the best ventilated cigar room we've ever visited. If you've ever visited one of those other cigar rooms you'll know exactly what we're talking about.

The Rooster Tavern - Scottsdale
The Rooster Tavern is a blast from the past with its "old style" bar stools and booths. It's one of the most eclectic spots in all of Scottsdale. This place is FUN (all caps), with its live music, tasty menu, and diverse crowd. We loved this place for its amazing energy and out of this world people watching! It's billed as "Your Luxury Neighborhood Diver Bar" and it won't disappoint.

The Rooster menu features everything from classic American, to Mexican and Italian (a menu as eclectic as its atmosphere). We recommend the Baked & Grilled Chicken Wings as a starter, they're grilled to perfection and are finger lick'in good! For a main course might we recommend the Baja Chicken Bowl, Mama Neny's Spicy Red Chili Beef, The Green Chili Cheese Crisp, or Rico's Green Chili Pork Stew, all of which are extremely tasty and will definitely add a little spice to your life!
The Rooster Tavern is a must when out on the town in Scottsdale. Friday nights are electric and extremely busy - get there early and prepare yourself for a night you won't soon forget. If the wonderful food isn't enough to keep you satisfied, remember there's live entertainment in this intimate, neighborhood dive bar. Meet up with old friends or make new ones! Anyway you look at it the Rooster Tavern is a hot spot in Scottsdale and a Luxury Neighborhood Dive Bar you must experience at least once (we're pretty sure you'll be back after your first visit)!

Hotel Valley Ho, Bar & Restaurant - Scottsdale
Wow! ZUZU, the bar/lounge at Valley Ho Hotel, is amazing, especially if you're into a very clean, retro vibe. The Scottsdale Road staff met up at ZUZU recently for a little food and fun, and we absolutely loved this place!

ZUZU features a limited but very tasty menu in the bar/lounge. We recommend the Drunken Angry Chicken Wings, the Garlic Stuffed Pretzel Bomb, and the Crispy Calamari & Jalapenos, all of which are quite satisfying, especially when accompanied by one of ZUZU's signature cocktails like the Barrel-Aged Herbal Old fashioned or the Cosmo Tamarindo. What better to do while sipping a tasty cocktail than people watching, and this is definitely the place for that!
ZUZU bar/lounge at the retro Valley Ho Hotel has a relaxing and lively atmosphere that's perfect for meeting old friends or making new ones. Be sure to ask for Jeff, he's a fantastic and friendly bartender who's only goal is to make certain a good time is had by all.
The Valley Ho Hotel has a rich history dating back to 1956, when it first opened with it's futuristic design (for the time). It played host to movie stars and professional athletes back in the day, and the building quickly became known for its trendsetting guests and its fashionable atmosphere. Not much has changed in that regard over the past 65 years and we can really appreciate the Valley Ho Hotel for all that it once was and all that it has come to be. This place is FANTASTIC and Scottsdale Road highly recommends it!

Copper Blues Live Restaurant, Bar & Entertainment - N. Phoenix
We are happy to add Copper Blues Live to our list of "must visit" spots in and around Scottsdale. If you love good music, great cocktails and a very lively environment, you'll absolutely love Copper Blues Live (CBL). I visited CBL recently for happy hour, it was a Friday and it was hot!

Copper Blues features local, regional and national talent, depending on the day (check their calendar for events). Some of the upcoming events will feature Cassie B, Taide, For On The Floor and Marty & Natalie just to name a few. CBL also boasts a first-rate showroom where you'll have the pleasure of seeing comedians the likes of Marlow Wayans, Damon Wayans Jr., Tom Green, Jon Lovits (Saturday Nigh Live fame), and more. It's a great time and It's hot!

While you're at CBL enjoy some of their tasty food like their Copper Wings, Nachos, Burgers, Pan Seared Salmon, and so much more. Don't forget, CBL features a Sunday Brunch with BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS. That's right, we said Bottomless Mimosas for just $25/person. The food is "bar-food" but tasty nonetheless. I enjoyed a fabulous BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and the CB Live Trio (Hummus, Salsa & Guacamole with chips). When In Rome!
If you're looking for awesome cocktails, look no further. CBL offers full bar service with all of your favorites. I had , my signature cocktail - Tequila, soda, muddled jalapeno and lime. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the flavor combination of the jalapenos, lime and tequila are a fantastic, a refreshing combination that you'll order over and over again!
If you're thinking about taking in a show at Copper Blues Live, please plan ahead! Make your reservations early as this place is very popular and like I mentioned earlier, features some of the biggest names in comedy and music #copperbluescomedycalendar and #copperbluesmusiccalendar.

The White Rabbit, Bar & Casual Dining- Gilbert
We've found a little gem of a nightspot located in Gilbert. The White Rabbit has been added to our list of "must visit" spots in the valley. This little place is an "underground" speakeasy reminiscent of the speakeasys of the 1920's. They play off the theme just like the old days complete with password for entry and dimly lit atmosphere.

If you're looking for something different and unique, The White Rabbit is a must! This place is perfect for a unique first date, a romantic experience, or simply for meeting up with friends - It's a great time for sure! Once you arrive, at the top of the stairs, you'll be asked for a password for entry. You'll be directed down stairs where you'll have to find the secret entry point in to the bar. On our visit the password was "Alice doesn't live here anymore" - classic! The Prohibition inspired drinks and small bites are wonderful and well worth the trip to downtown Gilbert. They have a two hour maximum per visit, so drink up and enjoy this uniquely themed establishment. The White Rabbit is a great time and It's Hot!
We recommend trying one of their handcrafted, signature drinks like the Lil Tricky or the Say Less, both of which start with Tequila - how can you go wrong with Tequila! The bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable, and aim to please.

The Beverly on Main - Old Town Scottsdale
The Beverly on Main is a very trendy, hip, chic night-spot in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. This little bar is definitely a place to be seen, and it is definitely "a scene." All the pretty people can be found at The Beverly! The DJ pumps out the beats and on the weekends it is standing room only. If you're a part of the "in crowd" this is your place.

The Beverly menu has an extensive menu featuring everything from Shareables, Tacos & Skewers, Sliders & Flatbreads, Burgers & Entrees, and heavenly desserts. Their cocktail menu features specialty drinks too numerous to mention but we'll mention a couple anyway. We recommend the M.I.L.F. and the Antibody, especially if you like tequila! Trust us, you'll love the cocktails!
The Beverly goes off, and is the place to be seen. If you're not there early be prepared to wait in line. Friday and Saturday nights are electric, loud, and extremely busy. From the front door staff to the bartenders and servers, the staff is friendly and accommodating. The service really makes The Beverly special and better than most joints in the Old Town Scottsdale area. Meet up with old friends or get ready to make new ones! The Beverly on Main is definitely one of the hottest, hot-spot in Scottsdale!

The Dirty Dogg Saloon is the epitome of "hole in the wall" and "dive bar." Located in N. Scottsdale, Dirty Dogg Saloon is a great place to get your party-on while seeing the live and very interesting bar show. You can shoot a game of pool or simply shoot your favorite tequila. Anyway you look at it the Dirty Dogg Saloon can be a bit wild, a bit crazy, and a good bit of fun! Dirty Dogg is a definite must see when visiting Scottsdale.

By the way, the Dirty Dogg also serves food, but food is the last thing on your mind once you're entered this dive. You'll find everyone from bikers to bankers, and scantily clad babes at Dirty Dogg Saloon. If you're looking for a little bit crazy, and a definite change from the usual in Scottsdale, the Dirty Dogg is the place for you!
